My photography journey officially began with the inexplicable need to photograph my daughter's every move. I bought my very first low-end digital camera and the rest is history. It isn't the most glamorous of stories but one that I do cherish. This is where hilarious, messy, RAW moments were captured. In the chaos of everyday life, those are the moments that tend to fade away and I am so grateful for having them in print to look at whenever I want.

Now, this may be when I first got my hands on anything resembling fancy camera equipment but my love for photography started with an even less glamorous piece of equipment: the disposable camera!
Yes, that's right. Many, many, many, MANY, MANY photos were captured, stored and treasured using these little guys.

When I was little, my mom, my brother, and I moved from the tropical island of Puerto Rico to the heart of mountainous Colorado. Photos were then my way of staying connected to everything: people, places, myself. It anchored me in a way that is hard to explain. Up until I graduated High School, I relied on these cameras for everything. To this day, I still have boxes littered with photos from years past!

Now fast-forward 10 or so years and I find myself with a continuation of this passion that has extended to other people: their life, their memories, their bonds. I LOVE what I do and I couldn't be more grateful for the opportunity to be a part of my client's lives. I may pour my heart into each session but believe me, it's always about you ;)
